Here is a list of which businesses and official offices in the U.S. will be open or closed for the federal July 4 holiday.
Open on July 4
Walmart, Target, and Sam's Club will be open on July 4. Sam's Club will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Plus members and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Club members. Trader Joe's locations will be open until 5 p.m
Most Macy's stores will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Other open retailers include Best Buy, Macy's, and Home Depot. For coffee cravers, Starbucks and Dunkin' will also be open.
Closed on July 4
The US Postal Service, UPS, and FedEx will all be closed on Monday, July 4. UPS and FedEx will only make exceptions for critical deliveries.
All New York Public Libraries will be closed July 2, July 3 and July 4. Retailer Costco will be closed for the holiday.
The New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq will be dark for the July 4 holiday, and most banks will be closed as well. Online banking and ATMs will be open for use.
City, county, state and federal offices are closed on July 3 and 4.
