1. US President Donald Trump told North Korea “do not try us.” Trump addressed the South Korean legislature as part of his state visit to the country, and also said his was “a very different administration.”
2. While in South Korea Trump also attempted to visit the Demilitarized Zone. The surprise visit was foiled by bad weather and left South Korea’s President Moon waiting for him at the site.
3. A leaked German military document said the EU could collapse by 2040. The planning paper spells out six possible 2040 scenarios, the most extreme depicts a crumbling EU.
4. The US is the only country to not support the Paris Climate Accord after Syria said it will sign. The US initially signed the agreement in 2015, but announced it would withdraw under President Donald Trump.
5. Saudi Arabia said Iran's actions could "constitute an act of war".Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince said Iran is supplying rockets to militias in Yemen.
6. The Philippines is hunting a possible new ISIS leader of Southeast Asia. The leader survived the recent battle in Marawi where more than 1,100 people, mostly ISIS militants, were killed.
7. NATO allies will meet on Thursday to discuss sending more troops to Afghanistan. The allies are "set to agree" on sending the troops -- half will come from the US and the other half from NATO allies.
8. A Pakistani diplomat was shot dead at his residence by unknown gunmen in Afghanistan. Relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan have been tense following the US' strategic plans for the region.
9. Nordic countries agreed to step up defense and intelligence cooperation. The agreement between Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, and Finland, came in response to Russia's increased military activities.
10. The First Cat of New Zealand has died. The popular cat of Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern had been a popular member of the first family and once interrupted a call between Arden and Trump.
