4. US telecom giant AT&T closed a massive $85 billion deal for media company Time Warner. The deal was originally opposed by Trump, who is a frequent critic of Time Warner's CNN coverage.
5. An Italian politician who spent 27 years hiding from the mafia has revealed her face. Piera Aiello ran for office anonymously earlier this year, gaining her the name "the faceless candidate."
