1. North and South Korea will march under a unified Korean flag in the PyeongChang Olympics.The two countries will also form a joint women’s ice hockey team.
2. The UK will pay an extra£44.5 million to keep its border control in France. Were border controls to move inside Britain, it could increase the chances of migrants making it across the Channel to the UK.
3. Britain’s House of Commons voted to back the EU withdrawal bill. The bill passed by 324 votes to 295 and will now head to the House of Lords.
4. Cryptocurrencies rebounded after a hitting a low of $10,000. Bitcoin has bounced by almost 20% today off its overnight low.
5. China condemned a 20-country push for tougher sanctions on North Korea. A US-led meeting earlier this week warned Pyongyang of a military response if it didn't negotiate.
6. The NYC truck attack suspect is seeking a plea deal. Sayfullo Saipov was indicted on murder and terror charges for the October attack which killed eight people.
7. Saudi Arabia gave Yemen $2 billion to strengthen its currency. Saudi Arabia, which has been deeply involved in Yemen's civil war, does not expect the money to be repaid.
8. Two US and two Canadian citizens were kidnapped in Nigeria. Two police escorts were also killed in the shootout.
9. Buses carrying Apple and Google workers were targeted in highway attacks. The free staff shuttles have long been a symbol of division between the tech world and the surrounding California community.
10. Romania is set to have its first female Prime Minister. Viorica Dancila is Romania's third prime minister in seven months, after her predecessor lost the party's backing.
