YouTuber Tana Mongeau teased “Tana by Tana” for days before surprising fans with a perfume commercial that doubled as a comedy sketch that showed off her various personalities.

In it, a drunk Tana, a CBD-smoking Tana, a post-Tanacon crying Tana, a businesswoman Tana, a goth Tana, a Tana using Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson’s “Conspiracy” eyeshadow palette, and several more Tanas debated the name of the perfume (“Vibes by Tana” and “Bottle Service by Tana” were scrapped) before deciding on “Tana by Tana.”

Mongeau ended the video with a vlog about the process behind the perfume launch, including a description of the fragrance and the design of the perfume bottle. She said she had been working on “Tana by Tana” for around a year, and had secretly worn it to meet fans.

The perfume has its own website for the launch and retails for $48. The packaging looks like a glass skull, and the scent is a blend of "vanilla orchards, orange skies and citrus sunsets."

Previously, her friend and fellow social media star Elijah Daniel joked that a perfume that smelled like Mongeau would be reminiscent of "3 day old taco bell, weed & a hint of 'have i showered this week?'"

But Mongeau is following in the footsteps of her personal idol Paris Hilton, another reality TV star that pivoted to perfumes that helped her amass a sizable fortune. She even added in the video that she and Hilton had become better friends and "go out together" prior to the launch.
