Earlier on Friday, the Supreme Court sided with Mississippi in the high-profile case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health, and eliminated the standard set in Roe, which allowed abortion until about 24 weeks of pregnancy, otherwise known as viability, the point at which a fetus can survive outside the womb.
The court's conservative majority handed down the ruling.
Biden has previously said he doesn't think the US will "stand for" the court's decision and hinted at possible legislation enacted through an executive order that would codify the rights that were protected under Roe.
