Ousmane Dembélé had a face-palm moment when he lost control of the football during his official unveiling as an FC Barcelona player.

Dembélé signed a five-year contract alongside club president Josep Maria Bartomeu on Monday. He was then introduced to the media on the Nou Camp pitch.

The former Borussia Dortmund forward cost FC Barcelona a club record €105 million (£97.5 million). But just imagine the fee Dortmund could have charged if Dembélé could actually juggle a ball.

In the video below, the 20-year-old Frenchman lost control of the football not once, but twice.

The first was during a brief "keep up" display, the act of juggling the ball in the air using your feet, knees, or head. And the second was after Dembélé tried to regain control of the ball with an elaborate flick.

Dembélé's football faux pas is not the first time this summer a new signing has blundered their way through an official Barcelona unveiling ceremony.

Paulinho - a €40 million (£37 million) recruit from Guangzhou Evergrande - lost possession of the ball after just three touches earlier this month.
