Emily Joseph told Insider that the inspiration for her costume came from her desire to make a white, furry coat for winter.
"The truth is, I really wanted to make a winter coat that was nice and fuzzy because I'm a New York local. It was just an excuse to spend the money to buy the materials to make the coat."
Emily, who is a professor at John Jay college, has been to Comic Con numerous times before and gets to show a different side of herself.
"It's interesting because every once in a while, I'll see one of my students and when I'm in cosplay, they won't recognize me at all," she said.
You can follow her on Instagram here.
