Maisie Williams is embracing a rising hair trend.
Earlier this week, hair-color company Bleach London shared two photos of the actress sporting a trendy, blonde mullet. Her new style reaches her shoulders, with wispy bangs that cross her forehead. Williams’ dark roots are also visible at the base of her new color.
“Mullet for My Valentine 💘,” Bleach London wrote on Instagram. “Color and cut for @maisie_williams by @freddie.yeah.”
Underneath the photo, Williams commented on her mullet, writing: "dreams rly do come true 🙇🏼♀️."
The hairstylist who created the look — @freddie.yeah on Instagram — replied: "ask and you shall receive 🙏🏼☯️."
It's likely that mullets are going to continue to rise in style, according to hairstylists including Brad Mondo, who told Insider in a previous interview that the cut will become "a huge trend" this fall.
Stars such as Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus have already donned the style this year.
In the past, the "Game of Thrones" star has experimented with various styles and colors.
Back in March, for example, she attended Paris Fashion Week wearing a two-toned bob that was dark at the top and blonde on the bottom. She also had slicked bangs at the time, and left two longer strands to frame her face.
Only a few months prior, however, Williams' hair was a bit longer, and also an entirely different color.
In September 2019, she shared a photo of herself wearing shoulder-length pink hair with brown roots. At the time, Williams' boyfriend, Reuben Selby, also had pink hair.
Even earlier that year, she rocked a purple updo with short bangs to the premiere of the final "Game of Thrones" season in New York City.
Representatives for @freddie.yeah did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
