Lizzo showed up to the 2020 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday ready to own the night.

Before winning three Grammys for best pop solo performance, urban contemporary album, and traditional R&B performance, the singer arrived on the red carpet wearing an all-white Versace gown with hand-embroidered Swarovski crystals that took two months to make.

Lizzo accessorized the dress with a faux-fur stole and $2 million worth of jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz, according to her stylist Marko Monroe, who told E! News that the fur detail paid homage to Diana Ross, while the silhouette of her gown was a nod to Cher.

Lizzo seemingly makes every red-carpet moment a fashion statement, and this outfit is no exception. It's a classic look that won't go out of style, but it isn't a safe choice either. By referencing Cher and Ross with her outfit, Lizzo showed that she can more than match their fashion game, and has become a style icon herself.

After walking the red carpet looking like an angel, Lizzo switched into a completely different outfit for her opening performance on the Grammys stage. The 31-year-old star stunned in a custom off-the-shoulder gown by Christian Siriano while singing "Cuz I Love You."

On Instagram, Lizzo said she had always imagined her performance at the Grammys looking like a "FANTASTIC TRAP ORCHESTRA" and in this rhinestone-encrusted gown she certainly owned the stage.

Lizzo changed yet again to perform "Truth Hurts" in a neon ZIGMAN corset and bodysuit - the singer often wears bright colors onstage - with Stuart Weitzman boots covered in Swarovski crystals. Her dancers wore similar outfits and refreshingly represented a variety of body types, perhaps a sign of Lizzo's commitment to propelling the body-positive movement forward.

After changing back into her black gown to accept the Grammy for best pop solo performance, Lizzo had yet another outfit to debut.

She ended the night in a custom Atelier Versace sheer dress. According to the brand's Instagram page, the gown was "enriched with hand-crafted crystal fringe accents." Lizzo paired it with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and EGO shoes. By wearing an almost entirely see-through dress, she once again demonstrated that she isn't afraid to show off her curves.

Lizzo deserves a fourth award for taking her already bold fashion sense to a whole new level with her Grammys wardrobe

Lizzo looked like modern-day royalty at the 2020 Grammys, making it a memorable night not only for her as a musician but as a fashion icon. Her slew of stunning looks on Sunday night made her the best-dressed celebrity of the night, and arguably showed her push fashion boundaries further than she ever has before.

Lizzo has worn over-the-top outfits in the past, as she did on the cover of Time when she photographed by Paola Kudacki wearing a $37,000 cape. The designer, Mary Katrantzou, told Insider that Lizzo was actually wearing the garment backwards.

"I think, for me, for this specific look to be on Lizzo is the best crystallization of our intention," Katrantzou said at the time. "I design pieces that can be worn by any size, by any age, and by any gender."

And who could forget that time Lizzo paired a ruffled Valentino peach minidress with a tiny bag at the 2019 American Music Awards? The moment was so iconic that it spawned countless memes and even inspired me to carry a tiny purse around for a week.

With other fashion-focused events like the Met Gala approaching, Lizzo's outfits are only going to get better, and I can't wait to see what she wears next.
