How to create a new user on your Mac
Since this requires you to set up a new password, you should probably have the new user sit with you during the process so they can start using the new profile without issues.
1. Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of the screen and select “System Preferences…”
2. Select "Users and Groups."
3. Click the lock icon in the bottom-left corner of the window and enter your password, then click the blue "Unlock" button or press "return" on your keyboard.
