- The colleagues looked on and laughed with Musk as he picked up a dumbbell to do the move.
- The video appeared to be a test of a live video feature on X, with Musk saying it "works reasonably well."
X owner Elon Musk appeared in a strange and slightly chaotic live video on the platform on Friday where he appeared to entertain colleagues by doing bicep curls.
Musk shared the bizarre live video during the early hours of Friday morning. In the video, he seemed to check his appearance, before laughing and panning to a group of colleagues chatting.
As the video went on Musk seemed unsure about whether he was live or not and asked for clarity from the room to see if it was working. He then turned the camera around to show a group of people sitting at a meeting table.
Musk then picked up a dumbbell in front of everyone and did a single bicep curl while saying" "This is me curling a 45 so there you go." The room erupted into laughter, with Musk joining them.
Towards the end of the video Musk clarified "looks likes our video features are working," and said to users "thanks for the test."
The video appeared to be a test of Twitter's live video feature, with Musk posting soon after the video that "Live video now works reasonably well."
Musk's iron-pumping antics come after weeks of speculation around whether he and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg will actually throw down in cage fight. Zuckerberg, a jiu jitsu and martial arts lover, is tough competition for Musk.
52-year-old Musk seemed to be taking his fitness seriously in early July when he started doing training sessions with Canadian UFC legend Georges St-Pierre.
Musk admitted in a tweet about the session: "Really fun! The obvious conclusion is that I need a *lot* more training."
However, the two tech billionaires are unlikely to actually engage in a physical fight, and are instead exchanging petty jabs at each other on their respective social media platforms.
