Elon Musk has said that social media accounts tracking his travel movements are "becoming a security issue."
The Tesla CEO on Monday responded to a Twitter post discussing the risk posed to Musk and his family in publicly posting details about his travel plans.
"Yeah, unfortunately this is becoming a security issue," Musk said, without providing further detail.
Earlier Monday, Musk denied a report from Drive Tesla Canada that he was due to visit Tesla's Gigafactory in Berlin, Germany, this week.
Musk said on Twitter: "I obv can't comment on every rumor, but this isn't true. Am headed to Berlin mid Feb, not this week."
The report, from Drive Tesla Canada, cited a person familiar with the matter as saying that Musk was due to travel around Germany in two Tesla Model Ys made at the company's Berlin Gigafactory.
Insider reported in early January that the Berlin Gigafactory plans to start production this year. Musk said at the Giga-Fest event in October that the factory was set to start producing Model Ys in November or December, Bloomberg reported.
Tesla was planning to make between 5,000 and 10,000 Model Ys per week at the Gigafactory by the end of 2022, Musk said at the October event, per Bloomberg.
