A plane caught fire at Chicago’s O’Hare airport as it rolled out for departure on Friday afternoon, the Federal Aviation Administration tweeted on Friday.

The plane, a Boeing 767, was due for Miami when a tire bust at 2:35PM local time. American Air Flight 383 then aborted take-off, according to the FAA.

All passengers were evacuated from the plane, American Airlines said in a statement to Business Insider. Seven passengers and one crew member sustained injuries in the fire.

While the FAA said that the incident occurred from a burst tire, the airline said that the problem was caused by an “engine-related mechanical issue.”

“American Airlines flight 383, a Boeing 767 bound for Miami, aborted take off due to an engine-related mechanical issue. The 161 passengers and 9 crew deplaned on the runway and buses are enroute to pick up the passengers and bring them back to the terminal.”
